Crisis Care

Families eligible for crisis childcare benefits must be a resident of Audubon, Carroll, Greene, or Guthrie counties in Iowa. Crisis care is for families who are currently experiencing a crisis or emergency in their lives and lack adequate care for their children. We can provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages newborn to 12 years old (or 17 if the child has special needs). Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 day s a week. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, which is why your crisis is kept strictly confidential.

Crisis Child Care covers:

  • Illness or hospitalizations of guardians or family membersChild drawing on paper with markers
  • Mental health issues
  • Substance abuse issues in the home
  • Domestic violence
  • Death in the family
  • …and more

How Can I Help?

Even if you don’t need these services for yourself or someone you know, you can always help. We are always in need of volunteers, as well as donations. No amount of time or money is too small for our organization
