Lower Your Employee's Stress Related to Emergency Child Care

Family Resource Center is part of the Early Childhood Education Empowerment Project for Audubon, Calhoun, Carroll,  Greene, Hamilton, Pocahontas, Humboldt, Wright and Webster Counties. We can assist your employees with crisis childcare in the event they have an emergency and need childcare while they respond to that crisis. Crisis and Parent Time Out providers included in the Family Resource Center database are registered family and group child care homes, licensed preschools, licensed child care centers and non registered home providers. Providers have a minimal level of standards they are required to meet to be eligible for our program.

Benefits to the Company
  • Satisfactory crisis response can lower the stress problems of your staff person.
  • Stable child care reduces parent anxiety and time spent making alternative arrangements.
  • Issues of affordability, accessibility and quality are discussed.

Improve Your Employees' Nurturing Parent Education by Informing Them

Family Resource Center has trained informational speakers who will share information with your employees about how to keep nurture their children's healthy sexual development while keeping them safe from sexual abuse and sexual predators. We believe the values and sexuality morals are a parents' domain, but they need to learn how to comfortably express those values to their children in an age-appropriate manner. Care for Kids and Nurturing Healthy Sexual Development is a research-based program that helps parents become comfortable with opening a dialog with their young children (ages 4-7) about their bodies, how to treat them as private, when secrets should and shouldn't be kept, and how it is the grown-up's job to keep them safe. Invite us to come speak to your company staff at no charge in order to raise awareness about this important subject, and develop more confident parents in the process.
